Salem Quartet got its start in July of 2014. WOW that was 8 years ago! God brought us together in church choir and we have grown together through song and the love of Christ ever since. And God has been good to us through it all; the good and the not so good. This is a big one -- we lost our dear friend and Bass singer Herb Peer this September. But wouldn't you know it? God had a friend in place whom Herb blessed to stand in his place! Isn't it wonderful to see God work?
Greg Long had just begun helping the quartet with our sound board when Herb had to miss a Salem engagement; it so happens that Greg can sing Bass. As Herb fell ill, he gave Greg his blessing to continue in his place with Salem Quartet.
We know that Herb is with our Lord, and we do miss him. Praise and rejoice in the Lord always! We will be with our Lord someday too!
